Well I love art. Love it! So I decided when I had the available cash I would start collecting.  While on my cruise they have an art gallery that does auctions and holds seminars.  I was at all but one of the events.  I didn't buy anything. I just studied some works and found some artists that I like.

One artist I fell in love with is Emile Bellet.  He paints pictures of women without faces and to me its beautiful because the woman in the picture can be whoever you want her to be.

My birthday is coming so feel free to contact me for a shipping address! lol

And that day would be my birthday. In October.  I don't ask for much.  But I am making it know so everyone can join in the pot! This is the only thing I want. It can be purchased directly from Cbabi Bayoc on his website Bayoc Studio.

Means many things to me BUT the highlight is the month long production by the Alvin Ailey Dance Company!!!!!

I just received an email for early purchase of tickets for the event.  And the exciting part is always seeing what's new and what's coming back.  One year I had no one to roll with me, so I went by myself and actually cried at one of the performances it was so moving. Sniff.  Just thinking about it moves me and sad enough it's not part of the program this year.  BUT, there is reason to cheer just yet! 

Alvin Ailey is doing a live music performance with the one and only Sweet Honey and The Rock!!!! 

So yes, I will be buying some tickets.  And I will be flying up to NY for a weekend to see the show.

Life is to short to miss out on great artist performances. 

I present Sweet Honey and the Rock. Their singing is so beautiful you forget there is no music.
